Lundin Links has two golf courses, the championship one at Lundin Golf Club and the excellent nine hole Lundin Ladies Golf Course. Both being just few minutes unspoiled walk from The Hamptons.
Lower Largo, a short walk from Hampton-House, is the birthplace of Alexander Selkirk, the ill-fated Scottish sailor who spent more than four years as a castaway in the South Pacific Ocean. Selkirk was later to become a source of inspiration for writer Daniel Defoe's fictional Robinson Crusoe. A statue of Robinson Crusoe stands gazing seaward outside the cottage that was once Selkirk's family home.
