B&B Bed & Breakfast United Kingdom, Wales, Gwynedd LL42 1lx
English

There are great walks and hikes around Barmouth (for all levels of skill and experience) which take you through some of the most ruggedly beautiful scenery in North Wales - many you can start from outside the front door (so enjoy car-free days). There's good cycling too!

Mawddach Trail Ardudwy Way Mawddach Way Coed y Brenin

For sun-worshippers, there are many miles of beach and a short drive will get you to Wales' only 'official' naturist beach if you want an all-over tan.

Castles - of course, at Harlech and Criccieth, and the lesser known gem, Castell y Bere in the Dysynni Valley.

Quirky sights - try Portmeirion Italianate village.

And the Steam Train - through July and August travel the Cambrian Coast line by steam!

Details

We have three guest rooms - all doubles... all en-suite...all with views of the estuary and Cader Idris.

We have a couple of single divan beds -so with prior notice we can offer twin or triple occupancy. We have no single rooms, though we will let out our doubles for single occupancy.

On the day of arrival rooms are available from 4pm - and on the day of departure rooms must be vacated by 10am.

We make every effort to source our fresh produce locally and are committed to the Fairtrade philosophy. All of our breads are home-baked and all our preserves are homemade.

Breakfast is usually served between 08:00 and 09:00 in the breakfast room on the ground floor. The view from the bay window is spectacular in all weather - and the early birds get the window seats! We're happy to make breakfast earlier for those wanting to get out into the hills.
