Things to do in and around Llwyngwril Snowdonia

Tal-y-Llyn is located at the Tywyn terminus narrow gauge lines The Talyllyn Railway is a historic narrow-gauge steam railway, set in the beautiful Mid-Wales countryside. Running from Tywyn to Abergynolwyn and Nant Gwernol, the line passes the delightful Dolgoch Falls and there are excellent forest walks at Nant Gwernol.

Mawddach Nature Reserve 2 Reserves in the Mawddach Valley which have beautiful walks through woods and shrub land, there are many different varieties of birds including Pied Flycatchers, Wood Warblers, Buzzards are also there throughout the seasons Opening times.

Coed y Brenin Is a scenic forest park, there are a number of family walks. Also it is renowned for its first class mountain bike trails there is also a cafe and cycle shop with sales and repairs.

Dolgellau is the nearest town Take the A470 north from Dolgellau and the Coed y Brenin forest park appears on the left after 5 miles or so. Park at the visitors centre.

Travel the Fairbourne Light Railway along the beautiful coast and join the ferry across to Barmouth.

Our Guest House is ideally situated in quiet seaside village of Llwyngwril on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and also benefits from wireless internet access.

The village is just a few miles from Tywyn to the South and Fairbourne to the North. A regular bus service is available within easy reach on the A493. Llwyngwril also has a railway station offering travel along the coast between Aberystwyth and Pwllehli as well as links to the Midlands and London.

Coed Talon can offer a choice of three no smoking rooms with private or en-suite bathrooms. We also have wireless internet access.

The Garden Room is a double bedroom with shower room situated on the ground floor, which has access to the garden via a patio door.

The Bardsey Room is situated upstairs is also a double room, which overlooks the front of the house. It has an en-suite shower room and sea views.

Llwyn Ddu Room is a twin room also upstairs with views to the rear of the building over looking the hills. It also boasts a private bathroom and a separate bath.
