It is of stone construction with a tiled roof and was converted in 1989. It is a Leasehold property, with 100 years left on the lease, the Freehold being owned by Beech Hill Property Holdings. This company also owns the Freehold to the four other residential properties around the courtyard, the main house (Beech Hill House) and the 5 acres of land that they are all set in. The Freeholder is responsible for external repairs including roof, external walls, as well as the Buildings Insurance (see leasehold details).
