Vine Cottage, Chepstow
As well as nature and woodland walks within the grounds, Parsons Grove is ideally situated for exploring.
Wales is steeped in History and offers visitors a fascinating glimpse of the past.
The Wye and Usk Valleys were the battlegrounds of tribes and nations over the centuries. Roman remains, spectacular Norman castles, Museums, and the opportunity to venture down a disused mine, are amongst the many things to see and visit.
The World Heritage site will give you a good insight into the major role Wales played in the Industrial Revolution. So if it's history you want, it's all within easy reach.
If a gentle stroll around our fifteen acres of grounds is a little too tame for you there are plenty of opportunities for the more serious walker, and local activities include many cycle routes, horse riding, fishing, golf, diving, canoeing, and a day at Chepstow Races. And, if after all this, all you want to do is relax with a glass of wine, or a cup of tea, and watch the sun go down over the beautiful countryside, then Parsons Grove is the idyllic setting for just that.
