Railholiday have been offering award winning self catering holidays with a difference and short breaks in Cornwall for over seventeen yearsWe have four beautifully restored and well appointed railway carriages sitting beside stations on the GWR Cornish main line; three in St Germans and one in Hayle. Each has its own enclosed landscaped garden.
As a family company we strive to go further to make our holidays special. Our conversions are carried out to a high standard. We pride ourselves on our green ethos and offer an environmentally friendly holiday without compromising quality or comfort. We welcome dogs, walkers, cyclists and families. All carriages are non smoking and Mevy is pet free.
The Travelling Post Office is a suitable holiday for those with limited mobility and we can offer a scooter on request. Thomas the Tank Engine and Harry Potter fans will love Harvey of Hayle, with its compact compartments and original BR seats, while if it’s sumptuous glamour you like Mevy will fit the bill perfectly. Finally for that quirky getaway you can’t beat the Old Luggage Van, with its patchwork quilt and cosy wood burning stove.
