Park Farm Cottages, Tintagel

Details
The cottages sit in a unique location at the top of Trebarwith Valley - a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - and enjoy stunning views of the Atlantic coastline including Port Isaac Bay and Trebarwith Strand. The spectacular scenery makes this an all year round destination; we offer weekly holidays (Saturday to Saturday) during high season (June to September), and a range of short breaks during low season.
Haywain overlooks the local sandy beach Trebarwith Strand and Trebarwith Valley, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with lots of country and coastal walks starting from the door (maps & directions provided). A walk of less than 1 mile down the valley from the cottages takes you past the Mill House Inn to Trebarwith Strand with a surf school, beach cafes, small shops and the Port William pub up on the cliff side overlooking the beach.
About 1 mile from the cottages is Tintagel with 2 small supermarkets, butcher/greengrocer, chemist, restaurants and pubs. Tintagel also has it’s world famous castle, which legend tells to be the home of King Arthur of Camelot which is celebrated in King Arthur's Great Hall built in the 1930's by an eccentric millionaire. Also in Tintagel is "The Old Post Office" - a 14th century manor house and the 900 year old Parish Church of St Materiana.
Immediately adjacent to Tintagel is the sandy cove of Bossiney - hidden away by steep cliffs, it is the ideal spot for a picnic or just a day away from it all. Just a short walk along the cliff path brings you to Rocky Valley, a wooded valley with a cascading stream and some stone carvings which are thought by some historians to be Bronze Age
