The house is located in the centre of Abingdon, right next to the historic Kings head and bell, where Charles I is rumoured to have stayed the night.
William III in fact stayed in a house in the same street. The queen has passed through the street; so has the price of Wales. You could say this is the street of kings!
As you can see from the above photo, the town centre and church is located only metres away. There is a local bakery across the road directly opposite- a Chinese restaurant 3 doors down- the town shopping centre and museum can be seen from the window. The Thames itself runs by the end of the road and within bussing distance is Oxford itself- which would take at least week to explore.
