Details

Keith and Annette Monnelly welcome you to their lovingly restored, old vicarage built in 1690, located in a peaceful situation next to the thirteenth century churchyard of St Mary's C of E Parish church.

Furnished with antiques and bric a brac collected over the years, we have two large letting bedrooms suitable for four people.

The Garden Room (double with en-suite) and The Armoury (twin bedded with private bathroom) both have flat screen colour television, radio, toiletries, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities with ample supplies of milk, biscuits and sweets.

Belford is a unique village with easy access to all the places of outstanding natural beauty that you may wish to visit, including the beautiful sandy beaches, historic castles, stately homes and vast expanses of wild countryside, all of which are only a few miles away.

Belford itself is a perfect location to relax after a long day's sightseeing. The Salmon Inn, The Black Swan and The Bluebell Hotel are less than five minutes walk away, all of which provide a range of bar meals. The local farm shop, Sunnyhills of Belford, (ten minutes walk) is open all day for light snacks and home cooked meals as well as selling local produce and unusual gifts.

Before a busy day’s sightseeing, enjoy a hearty Northumbrian breakfast in our slate-floored dining room with beamed ceiling. Choose from our rare breed sausages and home-cured bacon, to Keith’s special buttery kedgeree!
