Set in the small country estate of Butercombe Barton, Swallow cottage lies in 17 acres of woodland and meadow. Only three miles from the glorious beaches of Woolacombe and Putsborough, it offers comfortable family accommodation for 6.  Outside your private walled garden are a multitude of delightful walks through the estate, which you share with sheep, our horse and local wildlife.

This upside down living space, offers kitchen and living space on the first floor with three comfortable bedrooms downstairs.

The living spaces offers a centrally-heated, pine-floored open plan room with windows overlooking the garden and views across the valley. Comfortable sofas and an armchair guarantee relaxing evenings listening to music, watching TV (Satellite) or just rediscovering the delights of board games and reading after dinner.

The kitchen dining space, being part of the open plan area allows the chef to be in on the action and plenty of people availabel to help with preparations. The kitchen is well equipped to allow you to prepare gourmet meals - or just to warm up the occasional takeaway (when not BBQ-ing in the garden). There are 8 place settings for meals - just in case a couple of friends drop in for lunch.

Three cosy ground-floor bedrooms, one double (en suite with a shower with WC and wash-basin).  Two further twin bedrooms - one with full-sized bunk beds all offer sufficient space to store clothes.

The family bathroom has a shower over bath,WC and wash-basin,

A cot is available on request, (please bring cot bed linen with you).

The private walled garden offers a terrace and furnture for outdoor eating as well as a safe playspace for very young children.  For those older and more adventurous there are a numerous paths and places to explore through the woodlands of the estate.
