Our Location:
Hendercroft House is at the edge of the village of Halwill Junction, famous for its fishing Lakes (Angler's Paradise, King's Lake fishing Lake) and Winsford Walled Garden. The village is in an area known as 'Ruby Country' named after the ruby Devon cattle, and is essentially a rural farming community. We are close to the market towns of Holsworthy, Hatherleigh which still have weekly markets, and Okehampton with its ruined castle sits proudly as a 'gateway' to Dartmoor National Park.
Our Accommodation:
Our two double rooms are comfortable furnished in a contemporary style. Both rooms are ensuite - one has a shower and the other has both a shower and a bath. We use Egyptian cotton bedding, supply fluffy white cotton towels and provide complimentary toiletries. Both rooms have Tea & Coffee making facilities, an alarm clock/radio, hair dryer and flat screen TV.
