Heather Cottage stands in a quiet lane within the New Forest National Park. Ponies, donkeys and cattle pass our gate, deer keep their distance but can be seen.

  We have two double(kingsize) en suite bedrooms, one with a single bed in it, and a single room which has it's bathroom downstairs .  We will greet you with tea in the sun or by our log fire and we serve  delicious breakfasts, cooked or continental ,  in the conservatory or dining room.

Prices are from £35 per person for double occupancy,  £40 for our single room .  Children are welcome. Dogs may come by arrangement.

There are many restaurants in Sway and Brockenhurst, the nearest is 10 minutes walk from Heather Cottage. Both villages are on the main line railway from Waterloo,

 Beaches are 15 minutes by car and cycling, riding, golf, fishing, bird watching, sailing , and the many New Forest tourist attractions are  all close . Within an hour you can reach  cathedrals, shopping centres and historic cities outside the Forest.

You can of course walk all day straight from our gate, Cycles for hire can be delivered to our door.
