Offering spacious accommodation Hafod Grove was remodelled in the Mid 19th century by the Corby Family (Corby Gardens, South of the County are open to the public). There is a large farmhuse kitchen with aga and huge family table, 2 receptions with open fires,Six Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers, a shower room, 2 bedrooms have vanity units. Bring your butler as the house has servants stairs, arched hallways and a charming dogleg staircase with lovely woodland views. Hafod Villa has a conservatory, sitting room, kitchen / dining room and 3 bedrooms and huge garden. Up to 3 well behaved dogs are allowed in Hafod Villa but sadly not in the main house.
Within Walking Distance of pretty Ceibwr Bay and the famous Pembrokeshire Coastal path, the house is only 3 miles from two fabulous sandy beaches with rock pools and caves to explore. Equidistant between the quaint, Market Town of Cardigan with its, shops bars, restaurants and theatre and the picturesque village of Newport with it’s galleries, cafes, yacht club and Golf Club there is plenty to do and see in the area whilst enjoying the tranquil setting of Hafod Grove.
Surrounded by so much beautiful scenery,coves and caves, and stunning rock formations at Ceibwr Bay – a well-loved beauty spot – there are frequent sightings of seals, porpoises, basking sharks, turtles and dolphins and even the odd whale from the cliffs. A pair of rare red kite are often spotted flying over the property and the whole area abounds in rare and more familiar forms of Wildlife.
There are numerous sports and activities in the local area, such as golf (two courses within 5 miles) horse-riding (own a pony day), fishing, (sea and freshwater) coasteering, rock climbing, boating, canoeing, kayaking and archery, walking and cycling the gorgeous Gwaun Valley via Bessy's pub where beer is served by the jug, The Preselli hills are great for walking or riding; offering stunning views in every direction.
