Gors yr Eira is a warm, modern guest house situated on the outskirts of the traditional mountain village of Mynydd Llandegai in Snowdonia, North Wales. The views from the house are quite superb, taking in the whole panorama of the Carneddau mountain range from the front and Glyders from the back. The village enjoys the advantage of its altitude; clean air, quiet roads, panoramic views and the tranquillity of the Snowdonia National Park. Although 'away from it all', we are only 3 miles away from the A55 North Wales Expressway and 2 miles from the historic A5 trunk road.

Situated on the very edge of the Snowdonia National Park, the area is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast who wants to take advantage of the opportunities of the area has to offer; mountain walking, rock climbing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, pony trekking etc. If you are on a driving holiday, the village is well situated for exploring the valleys, historical towns and castles and the beautiful beaches of North Wales. The locality lends itself to gentle walks and quiet relaxation. The nearby towns of Bethesda, Llanberis, Caernarfon, Bangor and the Isle of Anglesey have good restaurants and pubs. Our hearty breakfast has received many compliments and is the perfect way to start your day.Prepared using locally supplied ingredients including our own free range hen, duck or goose eggs.
