Dinner, Bed and Breakfast in one of Queen Victoria's Commissioned Houses Crossways House was commissioned by Queen Victoria for her Administrator of Sea Cadets. It is a comfortable, gracious house, a perfect base to explore Osborne House, Victoria's  favourite residence and the yachting scene in Cowes. We are also located near the delightful village of Whippingham with its historic church. With over half of the island designated as an Area of Outstanding Beauty, exploring has never been so rewarding. We are located opposite Osborne House, and only a short distance from the yachting mecca of the world.
