Less than a 20 min journey will transport you to historical Hereford, Monmouth with its unusual shops, Chepstow castle, & Ross on Wye’s with its wonderful riverside walks & shops: Symonds Yat is the home of the nesting Peregrine falcons & its charming village offering canoeing and riverboat trips: Gloucester/Cheltenham is fantastic for ‘shopaholics’ & there are numerous ‘picture postcard’ Cotswold villages such as the stunning Bourton on the water close by.
