Bethesda Place is a quiet traffic-free lane in the heart of Downalong, close to almost everything in St. Ives and equidistant between the harbour and Porthmeor beach, only minutes walk to the Island car park and approximately 300 metres to Porthmeor beach.

This 3 storey fisherman’s cottage has been renovated to a very high standard and is equipped with quality furnishings and pine doors throughout. There is the added benefit of gas central heating making it a perfect year round choice and the cottage has free WiFi internet access.

Ground Floor

Sitting room. Entrance through stable door into this compact room which has oak flooring, beamed ceiling, leather sofa bed, additional settee, TV, Sony Hi-Fi with CD player, wood venetian blinds, traditional column radiators, subtle lighting and restored pine furniture.

Carpeted staircase with storage area under, leading to:

First Floor

Kitchen/dining room. Oak flooring, cream shaker style units, Smeg dual fuel oven, hob and hood, microwave, Miele washing machine, Miele dishwasher, fridge, Dualit kettle and toaster, oak breakfast bars and high stools, wooden venetian blinds and traditional column radiator.

Bathroom. Tiled floor with walk-in shower enclosure and power shower, wash basin and WC, heated towel radiator, mirror.

Carpeted narrow staircase and landing leading to:

Second Floor

Bedroom 1. Small double bedroom. Metal Victorian style double bed with quality mattress, oak flooring, painted wood drawers and clothes hanging area, bedside lamp, pine mirror, traditional column radiator.

Bedroom 2. Small twin bedroom. Two single painted toe-to-toe wooden beds with quality mattresses, oak flooring, painted wood drawers and clothes hanging area bedside shelves and lamps, traditional column radiator.

Heating is by gas central heating.

Well behaved dogs accepted by arrangement (on ground floor only).

No smoking. 

Prices range from £295 in the low season to £875 in high season.
