Cormiston Farm is a family run, four star, bed and breakfast encircled by the rolling hills of the Clyde Valley. It is surrounded by 2 acres of mature garden and woodland, some 2 miles from the town of Biggar and is listed by Historic Scotland.
There are two double bedrooms, overlooking the Southern Uplands. The largest bedroom has a super king size four-poster; both have private bathrooms.
A sitting room is available where you can relax in front of a coal fire on chilly days.
A full Scottish breakfast is included in the price: fresh seasonal fruit, porridge, free range eggs, bacon, sausage and a variety of black/white puddings; home-made marmalade, jams and preserves, and fine teas and coffee.
Dinner, if required, is usually at 8pm. It is a seasonal four-course set meal (options can be discussed in advance). Much of the produce is from the walled kitchen garden and from local markets. The emphasis is on local ingredients cooked in a simple way. We have a small but well chosen wine list, as well as excellent beers from the local Broughton Brewery.
Children of all ages are always welcome, and stay free if under 16.
