A traditional stone built cottage set in the beautiful Teesdale Hills.  The property has two ensuite bedrooms. Two seating areas, one with log burning stove, which makes the cottage feel very homely.  The Cottage also has a seating area within a private court yard.  The cottage is situated within 100 acres of farmland, which you are more than welcome to explore, including a disused railway line, picnic area and lime kilns.

Upstairs across a pine walkway are two day beds with books and games galore!

The property is situated approximately 3 miles from the histroical market town of Barnard Castle. 

A relaxing time may be enjoyed in the sauna or if feeling energetic a swim in the 40ft heated indoor swimming pool or a game of tennis may be to your satisfaction.

Also, if you wish to explore the great outdoors our eldest daughter runs a falconry centre where a day out can be had watching birds of prey in full flight in their natural surroundings.
