"A valley delight on the Lancashire borders" The parkland setting of the Edisford Riverside Picnic and Recreation area is home to our Clitheroe Club Site. South of the Forest of Bowland, the Site is wonderfully peaceful and close enough to the coast to enjoy a day trip.

- A 12th century Norman keep overlooks the town and the museum holds the North West Sound Archive of 9,000 recordings made in the area
- Manchester is a train ride away, with excellent shopping facilities and several interesting museums, including the Imperial War Museum North
- The Forest of Bowland offers a wide range of unspoilt landscapes to explore
