  • The coast at Charmouth is part of the Jurassic Coast of Dorset – now a World Heritage Site
  • Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre is home to interactive displays and information on fossils, fossil hunting and the local coastal and marine wildlife
  • The famous fossil beach is three miles from Site
  • Lyme Regis has a stone harbour wall, known as the Cobb, and events include a Jazz Festival, Life Boat Week (both in July) and Carnival Week (August)
