Built in around 1855, Celyn Villa is located in the quiet village of Carmel 2 miles from the centre of Holywell and 2 miles from junction 31 of the A55. Since being building it has been used as a small market garden, a manse house, and at one time was run as a post office by the Aunt of the famous Welsh actor and dramatist Emlyn Williams. Now traditionally decorated Celyn Villa is a deceptively large warm and cosy Welsh cottage with beamed hall and open fires in the reception hall and lounge. All the bedrooms have far reaching views over The Dee Estuary and The Wirral these include: One double/family room en-suite (with sofa bed suitable for one or two children), one double en-suite and one twin/queen with private bathroom (robes supplied). All rooms have been furnished to a high standard with comfortable beds and seating areas in all rooms. The spacious and comfortable lounge is also available for guests to use as is the large garden during the fine weather. There is plenty of off road parking for guests.
