About The Location:

Location, Location!! This apartment has one of the best in Edinburgh - in the centre of Edinburgh's historic Old Town and within easy walking distance of many of the city's famous landmarks.

For visitors coming during the festival the flat is a short walk from many of the major venues such as the Pleasance Theatre, the Fringe box office and the Festival Theatre.

The apartment is accessed from the Lawnmarket - and is located at the top of Edinburgh's historic Royal Mile, just 300-400 yards from Edinburgh Castle.

The apartment faces West, and you can see the Ochil Hills in the distance. It overlooks the court yard which includes the Writers Museum on Lady Stair Close, and a pedestrian square where Edinburgh's famous Walking Historical Tours visit.

This apartment consists of two double bedrooms - 1  with   a double bed  and 1 with twin beds(these can be made to kingsize on  the booking request )

  There is a lovely bright , sunny open plan living room with leather sofas and dining suiot ,

A fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher kitchen and a modern bathroom with an electric shower.

The apartment is on the top floor (4th floor) - sorry there is no lift(elevator) - which is usual in Edinburgh's Old Town.

Actually to us it was outstanding, because it was everything we wanted. The flat was well laid out and extremely comfortable. I rated Castle Walk excellent because some folks might not want to climb the stairs, or might expect services that would not be included in self-catering. We totally loved it, and Jayne and Tony were very helpful. I would definitely stay there again, and hope to. Loved the view out the kitchen window! Location Loved the area and how close we were to everything in the Old Town. Great pub up the street and to the left of the big restaurant that was a church once. Writers' Museum right across the close should not be missed--it's free, but donate--it's worth it. Can walk to Waverly Station, although it's uphill all the way. Going back down was a breeze.
