On the shores of the famous Loch Lomond, Cashel has fantastic views of the loch and the surrounding Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Campers can launch their boats directly from the site and explore the loch’s many small islands, many of which are privately owned. Ben Lomond, a Munro of 3192ft, is four miles away and there are other footpaths in and around the site, with the West Highland Way passing the entrance. There are two pubs approximately four miles away, both serving good food and there is a shop on the site incorporating a coffee shop. Dogs are welcome and there are toilet and shower blocks, as well as some pitches with electric hook-up.
