Captains House is comfortable Georgian period holiday home which has been fully refurbished to provide accommodation for 6 holiday makers and includes 3 double bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms and all modern amenities. The rear, south facing, garden is fully walled with  garage parking. Excellently situated overlooking the Waterfront Green, Hythe Pier & Southampton Water and centrally placed with short 150 meter level walks to both the Old Village centre and Hythe Marina Village. Hythe has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants and has a High Street advantage of Waitrose, one of Britain's top supermarkets just a few minutes walk from Captains House.

Southampton Port is the home to many of the Worlds leading cruise liners. During the season P&O and Cunard liners are frequent visitors as they make their inward and outward journeys around the world.

Throughout the day and night ships of all sizes and types may be seen close at hand as they slip gently past. Cunards new and famous QM2 is a regular visitor and her berth is within view of the Waterfront Green to the front of Captains House. The open walks of the New Forest National Park are just 2 miles and only 5 minutes by car an excellent local golf course with a restaurant having splendid views over the course with a backdrop of Southampton Port & Cunards QM2 berthing terminal.
