Here at Buttervilla B&B we exist in a bubble of peacefulness, just a short drive from the South Cornish coast and the fishing villages of Cawsand, Kingsand, Looe, Polperro and Fowey. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Eden Project, the historic houses and gardens of Port Eliot, Lanhydrock, Antony, Edgcumbe, Cotehele, Buckland Abbey and Saltram are all nearby.

With a wealth of glorious beaches, great walking, historic houses, fine restaurants, interesting towns and quaint fishing villages on our doorstep Buttervilla is the perfect place to relax and eat well

We have fifteen idyllic acres with great views over some exceptionally beautiful rolling countryside. Buttervilla an eco-friendly, Soil Association Certified organic farm, fully equipped with modern conveniences is a very special place to stay. Our rooms are spacious, en-suite, have solar heated spring water showers and very comfortable king-size or double beds. Organic teas and ground coffee, flat screen TV, free broadband wi-fi access, local maps, books and restaurant lists are all supplied in your room.

There is so much to see and do in this beautiful corner of Cornwall. The walking is world class, with stunning coastal views. Maybe take lunch at a pub or cafe in one of the quaint villages dotted along the coast path. Or head for the gloriously uncrowded beach at Whitsand Bay, a five-mile stretch of golden sand. Or just take it easy, stroll around one of the local seaside villages, watch the day roll by and poke around in the little art and craft shops. Then after a busy day exploring, followed by a delicious meal at one of our local restaurants, slip into a comfy bed back at peaceful Buttervilla for a relaxing sleep and in the morning be woken by birdsong rather that cars and people rushing around, just right for that relaxing short break.
