An open site on the edge of the Forest of Dean and close to the Welsh border, Bracelands boasts fantastic views across the River Wye. The copper beech trees are a striking feature of the site, which has easy access to signposted forest trails. Dogs are welcome and there are toilet and shower blocks as well as electric hook-ups. Local town Coleford is the administrative centre of the Forest of Dean, with a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. Clearwell Caves, a natural cave system that has been mined for iron ore, are now open to the public and a short drive from the site.
