Avondale Guest House is a lovely Victorian home ideally situated just a short stroll for the medieval ancient walls, all the attractions in the wonderful city of York, the racecourse and the train station. All rooms are en suite, cosy and comfortable, the perfect place to relax and unwind after a days sightseeing. 

We offer an large and varied choice of breakfast including traditional, continental and vegetarian options made with fresh produce and free range eggs, why not start your day with our 'whisky porridge'!  Avondale is no-smoking, and we offer free permit parking. If you would like champange, wine, chocolates or a bouquet in your room for that special event just request this on booking.
