Apple Cottage is a lovely 3 bedroom farmhouse, dating back to the 17th century, providing very spacious accommodation for six with plenty of room for additional cots. Situated on Pencuke Farm, a smallholding that is idyllically located with panoramic views of the countryside and sea. We are only two miles from the fantastic beach of Crackington Haven, amongst many others. From April the farm will be selling its own produce as well as a few other items such as organic milk and bread.

Apple Cottage has many original features, such as beams, exposed flagstone floors and a large inglenook fireplace. At the front, the cottage enjoys its own private garden enclosed by an old stone wall.

The holiday cottage benefits from a good-sized lounge with a flagstone floor and wood-burning stove set in an original Cornish granite inglenook - very cosy for colder evenings. The lounge is well equipped with a television and freeview, a DVD player, a video player and a radio/CD player. From the lounge you can really enjoy the cottage’s private garden. It has two large windows, or you can walk straight out into the garden - ideal for summer BBQs. There is also a spacious dining room with a table for 6, which also looks out over the garden.

The beamed farmhouse-style kitchen has lovely stone walls and an old stone hearth. It is very well equipped with everything you need for your stay including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. It also has a separate utility room with a washing machine, and there is a tumble dryer in our laundry room that is coin operated and available to all guests. A small porch welcomes you at the front of the property and provides really useful hallway storage.

Upstairs there are three large bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and ensuite shower room and the second bedroom includes a double bed and it’s own sink. The third beamed bedroom has two single beds. There is also a large family bathroom with bath, toilet and sink.

Apple Cottage also has its own enclosed private garden with garden furniture and a BBQ.

Changeover day is Friday
Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay in Apple Cottage, subject to a fee of £15 per dog per week with a maximum of 2 dogs
The central heating and electricity costs are included in the price of the holiday cottage
A basket of logs is included, additional logs can be purchased from the farm office
Linen is provided at no extra charge
Towels are not provided, except for overseas visitors at an extra charge of £2.50 per set
There is a games room on the farm for guests to use
Ample off-road parking is available on the grounds of the property
Cots are available, (you need to bring your own bedding for cots as only the base sheet is provided) please request when booking

Smoking is not allowed in any of our holiday properties
