Achaleven Byre is a beautiful stone built self catering holiday apartment situated in the peaceful village of Connel just five miles from Oban in the Argyll and Bute region of Scotland. The apartment boasts modern self catering facilities for a couple to enjoy a secluded holiday or for an adventure filled family break. The village of Connel itself is an ideal base for exploring Argyll and Bute. Lying on the southern shore of the beautiful Loch Etive. The beautiful Lusragan Burn flows through the village making this a peaceful and tranquil location. Amenities in the village include a small village shop for last minute provisions along with a post office and rail and bus links to Oban and beyond. If you prefer to eat or drink out, you'll find restaurants at the Falls of Lora Hotel and the Oyster Inn nearby. There is plenty to see and do in the area from walking, fishing or cycling to whisky tasting at a traditional distillery.
