6 Knott is a 100-year old cottage that has been renovated to a high standard.  Situated two minutes walk to the seashore and ten minutes walk to a horse riding stable (open all year), 6 Knott is conveniently placed between Portree and Dunvegan.  

6 Knott sleeps seven people in four bedrooms.  There are three reception rooms: a sitting room; a games room and a dining room/sun room that opens on to the large garden.  There are two open fires, a Rayburn in the large eat-in kitchen, (as well as an electric cooker), a separate utility room and two bathrooms.  

Furniture and fittings are of the best quality, with a mixture of antique furniture and new - including new king size beds with pocket spring mattresses in the double bedrooms.  Farrow and Ball paints have been used throughout the house along with sisal carpets and slate or oak flooring.  There is a DVD/TV, CD player, books, music, games and free wifi. 

6 Knott was extended in 2010 and now has an architect-designed kitchen/dining room extension with glass sliding doors that open directly onto the garden.  We accept well behaved dogs - by arrangement.  No smoking please.
